Relieving dental anxiety is one of the areas we shine at. Our patients have commented so many times that this is so much easier than they thought it was gonna be. Starts with when you enter the office, we’ve got comforts, we’ve got blankets, heated neck rolls, we’ve even got paraffin hand treatments, we’ve got headphones.
We don’t rush our procedures. We take our time to make sure you’re comfortable and make sure the procedure is going smoothly. We never work on you if you’re feeling uncomfortable at any point.
Then for those who still have concerns, we have nitrous oxide available. That’s laughing gas. We don’t charge for it, and many of our patients are very happy about that. Even going further though, we provide oral sedation. We provide you with some medicine at an appointment. You come to the appointment, we provide you with some additional medicine, and you don’t remember the procedure. Afterwards, you’re recovering at home, and you don’t have any memory of the appointment.
Sometimes we encounter people who have cut off their care for a long amount of time. They may be ashamed and don’t wanna have someone else see the problems that they’ve been struggling with. They may be nervous about their appointments. I’d just like to let these individuals know that this is what we do. We handle the more complex cases, and we do it in a way that people become more and more comfortable with the procedures and need less and less persuasion, and are able to come to their appointments with more ease.
