My favorite part of being a dentist, I’d say, is when we finish a case, whether it’s an orthodontics case with an Invisalign, whether it’s a cosmetic case, veneers or implant case with retained bridge or denture, and the patient sees that for the first time. And, you know, these things aren’t overnight processes. So to see that fruition of our work. We just delivered a case last week and I just can’t wait to talk to him again and see how it’s been. He hasn’t had front teeth in years.
I pride myself on giving you the options and letting you be involved in your treatment decision process. I have a friend who’s a car mechanic and whenever I go to a dealer or something and they give me all the list of things to do, I bring it to him. I trust him and he’s got my best interest at heart, even though he’s not doing the work.
And I feel that’s what we strive to do here. I look in your mouth, I talk to you, find out your goals, and I give you the options. And I feel that’s powerful. You’re involved in it. You don’t need to feel pressure to choose one option or another. There might be an option that is better or not, and I’ll give you my recommendation, but I’m not going to make the decision for you. So that, combined with the quality of the product we deliver here, I’m very proud of what we do. Being able to be involved in the decision-making process and then getting the end result that they chose and are happy with, that’s kind of what we do.

For 22 years and counting, Dr. Chris Mueller has been treating patients with complex dental and cosmetic needs in the Port Orchard, WA, area. He earned his Bachelor of Science at Brigham Young University before returning to his native state of Washington. There he graduated from the University of Washington School of Dentistry.
Inspired by his passion for providing top-tier dentistry, he received a post-doctoral education in cosmetic dentistry at the world-renowned Kois Center. Considered one of the top leaders in the field of dentistry, he was profiled in a book titled Playing Your ‘A’ Game by Dr. Bill Blatchford.
